This page is the demo: turn sound on and click anywhere.

Clicks you can hear
Choose a click sound that feels right, from crisp and subtle to tactile and expressive. On a Force Touch trackpad you can feel it too.
Ripples viewers can see
Make every important click clear, so viewers can follow along without guessing where the cursor went.
Recordings ready to share
Capture software walkthroughs and demonstrations with the sounds and ripples already in the video.

Recorder
Better tutorials start with clearer clicks.
Show people exactly what you did, without making them hunt for the cursor. The built-in recorder keeps every sound and ripple in the video.
- Capture
- Full screen or a dragged area, with system audio and an optional microphone and camera bubble.
- Baked in
- Click sounds and ripples are part of the video itself, so they survive any player and any mute button.
- Export
- MOV, a small MP4 for the web, or a GIF for pull requests. Trim both ends in the preview.
- Clips
- Auto zoom glides into each click, and Make a Clip turns a recording into a 9:16 video.
Product demos
Make new features easier to follow. Every click lands where the viewer is looking.
Bug reports
Show the exact action that reproduces an issue, with the press and release audible.
Tutorials
Help viewers learn without losing track of your cursor, even on a phone screen.
The recorder needs macOS 15 or later. Sounds and ripples work from macOS 13, with any recorder: QuickTime, OBS, Loom or Zoom capture the ripple because it is drawn on screen.
Sound library
Find your perfect click.
From subtle taps to crisp, tactile clicks, choose the sound that fits your workflow. 37 sounds in 8 families, every one synthesised rather than recorded.

How it works
Running in under a minute.
- 01
Install qliqr
Download the disk image, drag qliqr into Applications and open it. It lives in the menu bar; there is no Dock icon. macOS asks once for Input Monitoring so qliqr can hear your clicks.
- 02
Choose your sounds and effects
Pick a click sound from the menu bar, tune the ripple, switch on trackpad haptics if you have a Force Touch trackpad, and set quiet rules for calls or chosen apps.
- 03
Record, then share
Choose Record Screen from the menu bar (macOS 15 or later). Stop, trim in the preview, and save as MOV, MP4 or GIF. Or just keep clicking; the effects work in any other recorder too.

Privacy and compatibility
Your workflow. Your Mac. Your control.
- Runs on
- macOS 13 Ventura or later, Apple silicon or Intel. The recorder needs macOS 15 Sequoia or later.
- Permissions
- Input Monitoring, so qliqr can tell when a button is pressed or the wheel moves. Screen Recording only for the recorder. Microphone and Camera only if you turn them on for a recording. Optional tools ask for their own when you switch them on.
- Stays on your Mac
- Clicks, stats, recordings and custom sounds are files and settings on your Mac. Recordings go to a qliqr folder in Movies by default.
- What goes online
- Starting the trial, activating or checking a licence, and checking for updates. Optionally, anonymous counters: first open, permission granted, and an hourly click total with no identifier. One switch in Settings turns those off.
- No account
- A licence key is all there is. Activation sends a one-way hash that identifies a Mac without revealing its serial number.
- Uninstall
- Quit qliqr and drag it from Applications to the Trash. To revoke access, remove qliqr from Input Monitoring and Screen Recording in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Your settings live in Library → Application Support → Qliqr.

A small Mac menu bar app that plays a sound when you press and release a mouse or trackpad button, ticks softly as you scroll, pulses a Force Touch trackpad, and draws a ripple under the cursor on every click. It also includes a screen recorder that keeps the sounds and ripples in the video.
