What it sounds like

A panel switch with a firm over-center snap. The click is sharp, with a metallic ring in the middle and a low thunk underneath as the lever hits its stop. The release flips it back with a slightly higher snap. It feels decisive.

Good for

  • Settings, toggles and anything that should feel switched on
  • Keyboard-heavy work where you want the mouse to match
  • Cockpit-style or hardware-flavored demos

How it is made

A burst of white noise centered at 2.5 kHz, a 1.3 kHz sine with FM for the metal ring, and a sine falling from 380 to 240 Hz for the stop. A body at about 1.3 and 3.2 kHz adds the switch housing.

Every qliqr sound is synthesised from a small text recipe, so the version you hear here is the same one the Mac app plays, with natural variation so no two presses are identical.
